Clinical Implementation Lead

Build and lead our clinical implementation function: design the processes that take clinics from contract to renewal, grow and manage the team, and own our executive customer relationships.

Apply for this role Clinical implementationSan Francisco Bay Area

The role

You'll own Psyrin customers from signed contract to renewal. That means getting each clinic live, training its staff, and keeping Mira in daily use. You'll be the main point of contact for the clinic's leadership, from clinical directors to the CEO.

This is a senior, hands-on role. You'll be on site for clinic launches, run weekly meetings with executive teams, and decide day to day what each account needs. You'll report to the COO and work closely with our CTO and engineering team.

You'll be our first dedicated hire in this function. The playbooks you build will shape how Psyrin scales from 10+ clinics to hundreds.

What you'll do

Launch clinics

  • Run each implementation from kickoff to go-live: timelines, workflow mapping, configuration, EHR integration, and sign-off.
  • Work with clinic IT teams on kiosks, phone lines, telehealth, and the EHR connection (CareLogic, SmartCare, and others).
  • Be on site for launches, supporting front desk, intake, and clinical staff through their first days on Mira.

Train clinic staff

  • Manage training of clinicians, intake coordinators, and admin staff on Mira's workflows, including how risk disclosures are escalated to a clinician.
  • Build training materials and run refresher sessions as clinics add staff or sites.
  • Manage and supervise clinical implementation specialists or clinical interns who deliver training and launch support, as the team grows.

Own the account

  • Run regular meetings with clinical directors, heads of IT, and executive teams (CCO, COO, CEO).
  • Track adoption and outcomes for each clinic, and act early when usage drops.
  • Manage all customer communications: launch plans, release notes, incident updates, and quarterly reviews.

Scope customizations

  • Agree configuration changes with customers within the existing product.
  • Take requests that need engineering work or pricing changes to product and leadership, with a clear case for each.
  • Feed what you hear in clinics into Psyrin's roadmap.

Support and issue resolution

  • Take a share of the support line during customer business hours if needed.
  • Triage issues quickly, reproduce bugs, and write clear tickets for engineering.
  • Treat safety-related issues as urgent and escalate them immediately.

Renewals and expansion

  • Own the renewal process for your accounts.
  • Spot and develop expansion: new sites, more kiosks, and new Mira applications as they launch.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years in behavioral health, healthcare operations, or health-tech implementation or customer success.
  • Direct experience inside community behavioral health settings, such as CCBHCs, FQHCs, addiction treatment, or county providers. This can be as a clinician, an operations lead, or an implementer.
  • A track record of leading software rollouts or major workflow changes in clinics, from planning through to adoption.
  • Confidence managing senior stakeholders on your own, including CEOs, COOs, and clinical directors.
  • Comfort with technical systems: you can talk through an EHR integration with an IT lead, reproduce a bug, and write a clear ticket.
  • Sound judgment on when to agree to a customer request, when to push back, and when to escalate.
  • Clear, calm written and verbal communication, including during incidents.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and handling protected health information.
  • Able to travel regularly to clinic sites across the US.

Nice to have

  • A current or former clinical license, such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, RN, MD or psychologist.
  • Hands-on experience implementing or administering behavioral health EHRs, especially CareLogic, SmartCare, or Netsmart myAvatar.
  • Experience with intake, assessment, and documentation requirements in community behavioral health, such as DLA-20, ASAM, or treatment plan standards.
  • Experience with clinical research in any context.
  • Experience at an early-stage health-tech company.
  • Experience managing renewals or expansion with healthcare customers.
  • Experience managing or supervising staff, trainees, or interns.

Location and travel
